Kindly allow me space in your paper to respond to the sentiments aired by a Mr. Matomola
May I know just what exactly you want the world and indeed your country Zambia to stand with Israel to do? If it is to rob a people of their land and murder them in cold blood then I want no part of it. You would do well to remember that, “ Land is power without it life has no worth.” Considering what you are advocating people to do I hope you stand alone until you fail to support the weight of your blood guiltiness on your shoulders. This is a classic example of how the whole world and especially the clergy of Christendom with their cloaks drenched in the blood of innocent civilians has allowed itself to be deceived and react to all the deeds by Israel. They want every one to believe that all the actions of Israel have predetermined divine approval no matter how atrocious. This to me is the most dangerous fallacy perpetrated by blinded leaders of Christendom and the custodians of imperialistic western hegemony. This even dwarfs the Hamitic Myth (Noah’s supposed ‘curse’of Ham one of his sons and ultimately myriads of negrescent (Blacks) after him. This story has everlastingly assigned to the African the role of servitude as divinely cursed servants of white people. This jewish fabrication of the Hamitic Myth has provided the moral pretext upon which the entire slave trade grew and flourished. If indeed they are God’s chosen race, does it then still hold to speak of God’s impartiality written about in the bible? Impartiality as a virtue entails not taking sides, treating everyone as equal.
As for your country Zambia being Christian, please move over! What manner of audacity and impudence is this? Look, for all I know even Israel is not itself a Christian nation. Did you know this Mr. Matomola? At most it may just be a secular state and that as a nation predominantly it is still awaiting a messiah! Just because some Lilliputian midget(From Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels) woke up one morning in an apparent feat of religious excess and bellowed out of his gut that the country is now Christ-like does not make it one(Chiluba's Proclamation). This declaration was flawed and ultimately void as the over-riding motive was shockingly selfishness and done as an attempt at gaining political support from gullible religious interest groups. As was seen later, when the majority of its Christian population especially the Pentecostal evangelicals closed their eyes, they looted the country’s coffers right under their noses. The only consolation was they seem to have benefited greatly from the now infamous ‘Brown envelopes’ of money that the political establishment kept dishing out wish sheer abandon all aimed at anesthetizing and blinding their collective moral consciences.
Universal morality dictates that every wrong action by an individual or country be condemned and every good deed praised thus. This is irrespective of whether one is right wing, left wing, bigot, and communist, Palestinian, Israeli, Black, yellow or white.
