But when other Nations carry out brazen assassinations even caught on CCTV in a Hotel in Qatar nothing is done. What really is the end game to all this? Do you want a formal acceptance of responsibility followed by an apology from the citadel of power that The Kremlin is like they are some ragtag over-zealous Islamic terrorists Group claiming credit for a recent suicide Bombing or what? Then later you start recalling them after you are pleased with what you want to achieve? When will it end ? What is the ultimate goal of all this. Well, your guess is as good as mine, the jury is pretty much still out. These Nations might as well Boycott the forthcoming Football World Cup in Russia for all I care. What with what is his name funny haired Boris likening Comrade Vladmir to The Fuhrer who he feels used the 1936 Munich Games for propaganda purposes.You think there is no connection between Sporting Activity and Politics?The reality is that there is a very strong linkage actually. I may not be an expert in International Relations but by any measure,this is an over reaction in the absence of evidenciary proof linking the Nerve Agent to The Order of The Hammer & Sickle. POSSIBLE RUSSIAN REACTIONS TO THE COORDINATED DIPLOMATIC EXPULSIONS. THE GIANT URSUS RISING FROM THE WATERY DEEP: COLD WAR RELOADED.

By Namakando Nalikando-Sinyama I may not be Herr Sigmund Freud's Direct Grand-Son but taking a brief superficial lay Psycho-analysis of the former KGB strongman Vladimir Putin, will reveal that he never quite curls up or shy away from a challenge. As any ardent observer of the current Geo-Political Landscape will confirm,Russia under Putin has been steadily exerting it's Global Influence almost akin to its past glory days during the USSR Era and this worries the Western countries. I have always wondered the very meaning or composition of the phrase Western Powers because in a subtle kind of way,it actually excludes Russia. What, is Russia in Asia now? It is as confusing as saying lo and behold, Israel is actually now a European country! The implications of The Salisbury Incident with the Skriepal Case has far-reaching ramifications, I wish they had thought it through before childishly reacting the way they have. The way I see it, Russia's Putin has one of two options as possible responses to these expulsions. 1. He could equally give a childishly reactionary predictable response and match their undiplomatic behaviour and reciprocate it by expelling their Diplomats as well. This is what everyone expects.It is not like Vladimir to capitulate. Look at how he bounced back to the Presidency after being Dmitri Medvedev's Prime Minister. This, to me, is a Man on a Mission. In which case,they would all prove to be the same with no difference in their Leadership styles. 2. Vladimir Putin can give it some time , take in a deep breath, think it through, Plan it and then Execute and hit harder. There is no time frame as to when he should react. It is a strange form of Stratagem where he finds himself unwittingly incharge and having the carte blanche to behave as he so pleases while holding the trump card up his sleeve. As Order and Peace loving people,it is Our wish that he takes the moral high ground and shows true Leadership by swallowing his Pride and any Ego which could potentially cloud his judgment by calling them back to the table and continue to reason with them to reconsider and resolve the Mexican Stand-Off of sorts amicably. This is not a sign of Weakness but Strength. It comes straight from the ancient Writings of The Art of War by Sun Tzu. Although, I have my doubts, this is not the outcome the West would like to see or which they have aimed for. All gloves seem off folks ,they might just fancy their chances of triggering and effecting a Regime change in Russia as their ultimate goal. This Option of reaction, I did not even include or consider because it explains my heading: Russia's Putin can so simply choose to be a Hot-Headed and Roguish Brute and strengthen Ties with China, Rekindle Ties with North Korea, Iran, Pakistan, Cuba,Brazil, India, Turkey,Help Afghanistan expel the 'Infidels' from The Belly of The Beast, rein-in on Africa( using China which already has gotten a huge Boot stuck in the Africa Resource Door) This effectively strengthens BRICS to extremely scary levels for the West,not just economically but Militarily as well. They create a New Metal Exchange where Africa now finally would be offered a better deal for her Mineral Resources and the establishment of value -Addition factories within Africa Countries would be suggested as an Inducement for them to sign up. The West would now have a far much bigger problem to contend with on their hands. Do you know why they(The West) have not ganged up already to go and blow Syria to Kingdom Come and hang Assad and drag his lifeless body behind a truck?( Pardon my gory depiction of their preferred modus operandi for the execution of sovereign Leaders of weaker Nations who stand in their way).Russia reserves the right to do all these things above. It is my sincere hope however, that the whole matter gets ironed out instead of needlessly edging Humanity ever closer to a Mushroom cloud thus triggering an E.L.E( Extinction Level Event) courtesy of another Ice Age making any diehard Environmentalist even wish for Global Warming! The action of these Western powers is extremely counter-inuitive. They should have been planning to bring Russia back into the fold and work together as equals. I also challenged this over-reaction because the alleged Russian victim of the Nerve Agent is still alive. The speed at which they figured out which antidote to administer is also suspicious if you asked me.4. I also asked if somehow there was some extra intelligence information the rest of the world are not just privy to say,a satchet of the Nerve Agent being picked by Scotland Yard with the writings Made in Moksva(Moscow) Russia which directly implicated them. If this was so, I would have been one of the very first people to applaud them. 5. I also hinted that the whole thing could well have been a False Flag attack on the Former Russian Spy. These and many other thoughts I expressed have since been either redacted in sections or completely expunged from the write up. THE BANNING OR SUSPENSION OF LARGER PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES

Why do I get the impression there is a growing morbid and highly disturbing obsession with Banning things in these parts! Did the Consumers not deserve to be told exactly what the said practices by the Manufacturers are? Have tgey been drinking dirty water, if so, how does it become clean when the Plastic packaging is smaller? Especially if the water is still made by the same Company? Just what is the connection between Water Weights & Measures and Health? Is the Chemical Process (Mostly Reverse Osmosis) any different based on packaging? Is the Chemical analysis of the water revealing different findings of dissolved Ions or suspended Impurities? If the Danger is Health related, surely the Risk should have been spelt out and made known for them to take corrective and preventative measures. If as we are now beginning to learn it is about the discovery of UFO's (Unidentified Floating Objects) like stowaway Amphibians in isolated cases this should have been explicitly stated.How will this problem self-resolve in 60 Days?There is a very substantial Cost differential between the Bigger 'Dispenser' Water as compared to the smaller exploitative ones you use on the go. On average, the 20 Litre Dispenser Bottles cost a little under K25 and would last a small family of 5 even a week or more to finish. Whereas, if each member of the family were to buy two 750ml Bottles at K5 each per Day, this would cost them a whooping K350.00 in a week! I may have muddled up the Math but you still get the Point. Here is a crazy thought, let us imagine if we can that by reverse Mosaic Hydro-Christian miracle someone touched all the Municipal and Water Utility treatment Plants, cleaned out all the ecoli. Bacteria and suspended faecal matter and made it all safe to Drink. What would happen to these Bottled Mineral Water Companies? Did Tap water mysteriously become unsafe to Drink for a reason? Because us face it, as a friend has reminded me it used to be completely safe at one point right? It has become more fashionable and admirable Environmental stewardship and Responsible practice to reuse the small Plastic Bottles instead of discarding them anywhere and everywhere and not forgetting Cost Effective in these troubled Economic Dire straights(Forgive the Mark Knopfler Musical Pun) to simply decant Chilled water from your 20 Litre home Dispenser and be on your way. Dispenser Water in Homes lasts longer depending on the weather and size of the household.The Big Bottle are returnable or reasonable and thus a more reasonable and better way if combating or shocking the planet in PET Plastic. Let us face it, the recently discovered Plastic Eating Enzyme may not find its way to Africa for the next 20 years or so to follow or may never even get here for all I know like most other things Life serving have not. This decision has to be subjected to a much greater level of scientific and public scrutiny than merely glossing over the real reasons behind the suspension courtesy of some, half thought through, fuzzy and dodgy public Communiqué. This is a relatively new and costly hydration craze. I remember when thirsty and feeling increasingly parched we would simply look around for a nearest public faucet(Tap) bend over , Cup your palm and drink your fill and quench yourself. Alternatively, when there was still a good sense of neighbourliness , one would simply risk a vicious attack from rabid canines and knock a total stranger's house and humbly exclaim in kiSwahili , Hodi! I am kindly asking for a drink of Water please. Sigh!!! Nostalgia creeps in.We still had and cherished a sense of Community then, when the Economy was friendlier that is.
